The first Antaradaśā was Mars — fifth lord in the fifth house, bringing the child. The same year, war broke out with Japan during Russia's eastern expansion. Mars Antaradaśā closed in 1906. Ketu Antaradaśā began May 1914 — days before WWI broke out on the Serbian-Austrian border. The same Kartari Yoga delivered war-machine losses; winter starved the people in the trenches and at home. The Czar dismissed his commander-in-chief and took the role himself, becoming directly responsible for the war's failures.
Mercury Antaradaśā arrived November 1915 — a dire Māraka, lord of the seventh from Moon, combust by the Sun, afflicted by retrograde Saturn. The throne would fall during this period. Rasputin was murdered in December 1916. Riots broke out in the capital. The military forced the Czar's abdication in March 1917. He lived under confinement.
In August 1917 — August 1919, Rāhu Antaradaśā within Rāhu Mahādaśā activated Marāṇa Kāraka Sthāna Rāhu. A most dire and deadly Māraka period. On 17 July 1918, during the Pratyantara Daśā of Moon (eighth lord from Lagna), the entire family was executed by gunfire in Yekaterinburg.
