The model is best at:

The human must do:

2. Fighting the model instead of collaborating

Asking for something, rejecting it because it's "not good enough," asking again with the same input. This doesn't work—if the prompt isn't constraining enough, the model will generate the same distribution of outputs.

3. Trusting the model's confidence

Psychology: Collaborative creative work parallels effective therapeutic dialogue. Both involve one party (human/therapist) with judgment/vision and another (model/client) with material to work with. Both succeed when the roles are clear—the therapist doesn't generate insight for the client; they help the client discover their own insight. Similarly, the model shouldn't generate vision; it should help you discover yours through iteration.
