By the next morning, three arbans within a half-day's ride have all received the same orders through this informal song-transmission chain. The Khan's instruction has reached them without a single written document, without a courier from central command, without any direct verbal communication from the original order-source.
The case study reveals what the architecture actually delivered. Not just memorization-accuracy at the individual level, but distribution at scale through social singing. The Mongol army's communication infrastructure ran on the same channels its musical culture ran on. The Mongol case suggests these are the wrong optimization targets for many operational communication needs. Information that needs to be remembered, verified by multiple parties, and propagated through social channels would benefit more from song-form architecture than from prose-form architecture.
