Reading eight documents of the Hanumanic Strategy folder end to end, one sentence keeps arriving in different clothes.
You're not trying to eliminate desire itself, which often leads to suppression and eventual relapse. Open-handed engagement — caring deeply about outcomes while holding them lightly. Compassionate discrimination — discerning wisely without closing. Not the suppression of emotions, but the understanding that all emotional states are temporary modifications of awareness.
Four formulations. Three documents. None of them cites another. The author is not repeating himself — he is arriving, over and over, at the same rule from a different door each time, and never noticing he has been there before.
[RESONANCE] The corpus's documented weakness is that its good ideas never travel between files. The conversion table appears once. The safety framework appears once. The exaptation frame appears once. That has been read, correctly, as a defect — the propagation failure.
But this is the same defect producing something else entirely. A construct that cannot propagate has to be re-derived, and a rule re-derived four times from four starting points is a rule with four independent proofs. The corpus accidentally ran the experiment nobody runs: does this hold if you come at it from anger? from attachment? from aversion? from emotional freedom? Four times, yes.
⚑ Which inverts the finding without cancelling it. The propagation failure costs the corpus its citations and buys it convergent evidence — and the anti-suppression principle is the one doctrine in the folder that needs no repair at all, precisely because it was never inherited from anywhere.
The things that propagate in this corpus are the things with a shape. Constitutional adaptation travels — Vāta, Pitta, Kapha — because it produces a three-part section anywhere it is dropped, so a document being drafted has a slot waiting for it. The safety framework produces no section. The exaptation frame produces a clause. Neither travels.
So the corpus is not forgetful. It is template-driven, and what survives is whatever fits a template.
Which means the repair for the constructs that vanished is not discipline and not an index. It is giving them a shape — a required column, a standing preamble, a fixed closing section. Make the safety framework a block that every practice document must carry and it will propagate for the same dumb reason constitutional adaptation does.
[PERSONAL] This is the argument for writing the book in forms rather than in prose. Everything this build rated highest across two corpora is a sequence, a table, a schedule or a checklist — the conversion table, the pre-registered designs, the four safety conditions, the fifteen-minute preparation. Everything it flagged is exposition.
The corpus is evidence that the author writes well when the form asks a question back and drifts when it does not. A book built as a stack of forms would be a book that could not contain the failure modes this build spent eight phases cataloguing.
⚠ And the uncomfortable corollary: the parts of the book that most want to be beautiful prose are the parts most likely to be wrong.
