Most digital content can't complete the arc. The 90-second TikTok stops at Recognition. The 200-word LinkedIn post barely reaches brief Resonance. The 30-second Reel never gets to Release. The push-notification doesn't activate the arc at all — it just triggers arousal without any subsequent containment.
The reader scrolling through hundreds of these per day is encountering arc-fragments without arc-completion. Their nervous systems are being repeatedly activated (the first stage or two of the arc) and never returned to baseline (the Release and Resolution stages). Activation without completion.
What if this pattern is causally implicated in the contemporary explosion of anxiety, attention-dysregulation, emotional brittleness? Not as the only cause but as one structural factor. The standard medical-model treats these as individual conditions or as effects of too much content. The rasa-framework offers a different reading: the problem isn't too much content; it's too much arc-incomplete content.
