Foss at Saturn S62: "I am writing this with Saturn exactly transiting my Ascendant. It surely has been a blessing."

One sentence. Inside a commentary on a different mantra. The disclosure looks small. It is methodological. Foss is telling the reader that he wrote the Saturn-volume under the operationally-most-relevant Saturn-transit possible: Saturn over his own first house, the placement that in standard chart-reading would predict the most pressure on identity, energy, and direction. The volume's content is therefore not lecture-notes from an outside observer; it is testimony from inside the graha he is documenting.

At R45 Foss confirms the pattern for Rāhu: "I was writing the Rāhu chapter when Rāhu was in Aries."

The Live Wire

• First wire (obvious): "Foss likes to disclose when his life mirrors what he's writing about."
• Second wire (deeper): If Foss writes each volume under operationally-relevant transits of the graha being documented, then the entire 9-volume corpus is a meta-witness apparatus where the author embodies each graha while documenting it. The corpus is not a translation; it is a documented practice. This is a methodological-commitment no other Vedic-astrology corpus replicates at this level.
• Third wire (uncomfortable): Reading the Foss corpus serially in the order of the graha-Dashās in one's own chart would deliver each volume during the period the volume is most operationally relevant to the reader. The 9 volumes become a 120-year reading-schedule (one Vimshottari-cycle) where each volume arrives at the time when the practitioner's own chart is most receptive to its content. Foss does not propose this reading-protocol explicitly. The architecture implies it.
