The Live Wire (second framing): This isn't fraud — it's a structure, and it's everywhere once you see it: the inaccessibility is the authority. A source nobody can check can't be falsified, so its claims float free of correction. The same closed loop that protects a genuine secret tradition from dilution is indistinguishable, from outside, from the loop that protects a racket. Invisibility shields the true lineage and the fake one with the same wall.
Why it's live: It's a portable diagnostic — for esoteric traditions, for "proprietary data," for any expertise whose evidence is structurally unexaminable. The question is never "is the claim true" but "could it ever be shown false, and who benefits from that it can't?"
