NS XVII.108-110 names this directly: "The poetical composition in connexion with the Heroic, the Furious, and the Marvellous Sentiments should consist mostly of light syllables and should include similes and metaphors. In the Odious and the Pathetic Sentiments it should be similar except that it should consist mostly of heavy syllables."1
