Before it teaches anything, one document in the Hanumanic Strategy corpus stops and builds a floor. Four named conditions, stated in full before the first practice is described, governing whether the material that follows may be used at all.1
⚑⚑ This is the best thing the corpus does, and the build has been recording for four phases that the corpus does not do it. ⚠ The finding that the extension corpus goes looking for permission and not for limits is well established and correct about most of it.5 This document is the counter-example, and it is worth as much as the finding.
Integration with Existing Care. "Every practice suggested in this system should be discussed with your therapist to ensure compatibility with your current treatment approach." The framing is explicit: spiritual method supports rather than competes with evidence-based intervention, and the reader is told to think of the material as "adding spiritual understanding to your existing toolkit rather than replacing professional care."1
Grounding and Reality Testing. A stated criterion — authentic development "always enhances rather than compromises practical functioning and clear thinking" — and a stated consequence: "any practice that increases confusion, isolation, or disconnection from supportive relationships should be modified or discontinued."1
Graduated Approach. Basic understanding and gentle practice first; advancement only when foundation skills are solid and mental health remains stable.1 ⚑ Two conditions, and the second is not about the practice at all.
Warning Sign Recognition. Four named indicators — increased anxiety, sleep disruption, difficulty concentrating, and any symptom that concerns either the practitioner or their therapist.1
⚑ The obvious reading is that this is a disclaimer, and the obvious reading is wrong.
⚠ The taxonomy the document goes on to teach cannot be applied without an outside view, and not as a matter of caution — as a matter of logic.6 Each of its five obstacle patterns is defined as a misapplication of a capacity: energy without direction, rest that became stuck, discrimination that became refusal. ⚑⚑ So the classification is never readable from the behaviour alone. Restless energy is agitation or it is appropriate urgency. Withdrawal is inertia or it is the protective response the document itself insists on respecting.
⚑ The diagnosis depends on whether the circumstances warranted the response — which is precisely the judgement a person inside a strong affective state cannot make about themselves. ⚠ The therapist is not there in case something goes wrong. The instrument does not function without one.
Of the four, the second is the one worth keeping verbatim, because it is a test rather than an instruction.
⚑ Confusion, isolation, disconnection from supportive relationships. Three named directions, all of them observable, none of them requiring the practitioner to assess the quality of their own spiritual state.
⚑⚑ And the second is the sharpest, because it names the failure mode that intensive private practice actually produces. ⚠ A practice that is going wrong very rarely announces itself as going wrong. It announces itself as going unusually well, to someone who is seeing fewer people than they used to. Isolation is the early symptom and elevation is the late one, and the framework watches the early one.
⚑ This is also the criterion that would have caught what the corpus's other documents cannot catch about themselves — an escalating time commitment, a widening gap between the practitioner's vocabulary and everyone else's, a project increasingly explicable only from inside. None of those is a warning sign in any other document read.
One line does more work than the four conditions together.
"The traditional approach values practical effectiveness over spiritual intensity, so modifying practices to maintain wellbeing aligns perfectly with authentic spiritual development."1
⚑⚑ This makes reducing practice a mark of fidelity rather than of failure, which removes the single mechanism by which a person in difficulty is most reliably kept in it. ⚠ The ordinary structure of an intensive practice makes cutting back an admission — of weakness, of insufficient sincerity, of not really wanting it. A framework that reverses the sign has done something no amount of listed contraindications achieves.
⚑ And this is the rail the tradition already had, arrived at independently. Rāmsukhdās's test for spiritual inflation is behavioural — does the serving continue undiminished? — which likewise refuses to score practice by its intensity.3 ⚑⚑ The build's governing finding for this whole corpus is that the practitioner, believing himself to be trespassing beyond the tradition, could not go looking for the tradition's limits, so three real safety rails went unfound rather than rejected.5 ⚠ Here he rebuilt one of them from scratch. It is the third such reconstruction this build has recorded, after the inward-redirection requirement and the Aṣṭavarga's disarmed conversions.8 [n=3]
The framework's structural achievement is where it sits.
⚑ It is the fourth section of the document, before the first classification and before any practice. ⚠ Every other cautionary passage in the corpus read to date arrives at the end of a document, in a closing note, or as a bracketed aside inside a protocol.
⚑⚑ A caution at the end is read by someone who has already decided to try the thing. A precondition at the front is read by someone deciding. ⚠ The difference is not emphasis; it is which question the reader is holding when they meet the text.
⚑ The corpus knows this about writing and applies it elsewhere. Its style guide rules on ordering, its content system opens with preparation, its curriculum sequences by week. ⚑⚑ It applied the principle to safety exactly once, in this document, and appears not to have noticed that it did.
⚠ *The four conditions are stated for "this system", and the system meant is one document.*
⚑ Read against its own cluster, the framework is contradicted by a sibling written for the same reader. The crisis-navigation document prescribes 90 to 180 minutes of daily practice at high intensity — an extended invocation, an intensive recognition practice, extended pathworking, and a recommendation to consider retreat periods — and mentions no clinician at any point.2 ⚑⚑ The two documents describe the same practitioner in the same conditions, one treating professional care as the floor and the other omitting it from its most demanding protocol.
⚑ Nor does the framework reach the practice most obviously in its scope. The cluster's transmission document teaches staged, deliberate ego-permeability, and supplies four rigorous indicators governing when a practitioner may offer transmission — and none governing when they should accept it.4 ⚠ The gate for receiving exists. It is these four conditions, in a different file.
⚑⚑ This is the corpus's governing structural defect arriving in the place where it costs most. Phase 7 established it as a census: sixteen documents, one explicit cross-reference, and four corrections sitting in the same folder as the errors they fix.7 ⚠ A safety framework that does not propagate is not a safety framework. It is a well-written section.
The framework opens by naming its reader, and this is the reason it works.
"…this exploration focuses on how traditional obstacle classification can complement rather than replace your existing support systems."1 ⛔ The clause preceding this one names the reader's own circumstances and is withheld from this vault on the user's instruction, 2026-08-19. What matters here is the possessive — your support systems, not a professional.
⚑ The document then reads its own material through that reader specifically, mapping two of the three guṇas onto named clinical categories — "understanding rajasic patterns provides frameworks for working skilfully with high energy rather than trying to suppress it" — with the recommendation framed throughout as complementary to therapeutic work rather than as a substitute for it.1 ⛔ The categories it maps onto are withheld.
⚠ Everywhere else in this build the corpus's addressed-to-one-person quality has been a caveat. ⚑ It is recorded on every practice page as a bound: this was written for one named reader with stated clinical conditions — withheld from this vault — and must never be rendered as general instruction.13 ⚑⚑ Here it is the source of the framework's quality. A document written for everybody could not have said your therapist; it would have said a qualified professional, and the difference between those two phrasings is the difference between a condition and a disclaimer.
⚑ Which produces a finding the corpus's other documents contradict by their behaviour. ⚠ The material that generalises worst is the material that protects best. The obstacle taxonomy travels — it is a five-part scheme anyone could apply. The safety framework does not travel, because it names a relationship that exists.
⚑⚑ And the corpus's instinct, everywhere else, is to generalise. Its constitutional adaptations, its three-track curriculum, its twelve-week programme, its viral transmission design all convert the personal into the distributable. ⚠ Applied here that instinct would destroy the thing it was applied to — which is worth knowing before the book decides how much of this material to universalise.
Lift the four conditions out of the document and make them a standing preamble to every practice text in the project. ⚑ They are already written. The work is entirely one of placement.
Keep the reality-testing criterion in its own words. ⚑⚑ Confusion, isolation, disconnection from supportive relationships — three observable directions, checkable without any judgement about the quality of one's spiritual state. ⚠ Any rewriting that turns these into an inner condition destroys them.9
Attach the framework specifically to the two practices in this cluster that most need it — the high-intensity crisis schedule and the ego-transparency preparation.24 ⚑ Neither requires new safety material to be invented. Both require an existing section to be moved.
And carry the reduction sentence wherever the practices go. ⚑ It is the one line that keeps a framework from being ignored by the reader most at risk, because it removes the cost of obeying it.
Source. The Hanumanic Psychological Obstacle Classification System, Iteration 19, read in full 2026-08-18 with the seven other documents of the psychology cluster.1 personal-notes. [EXTENSION] — the framework is the author's own and claims no tradition.
⚑ Which is worth stating, because the same document misattributes the taxonomy it introduces.6 ⚠ The safety framework carries no attribution at all, and it is the better half of the document.
Bounded. ⚑ That this is the only place in the corpus where safety conditions precede the material, and the only daily protocol ending in a report to another person, is a claim about the fifty-three folder documents read as of 2026-08-18 — phases 1B, 3, 7 and 8. ⚠ Fifty-two documents are unread. The practice and cultivation cluster of roughly twelve documents is among them, and is the likeliest place for further safety material. Nothing is claimed about it.
Not read. ⚠ Text extraction only; nothing is claimed about images or diagrams in any document of this cluster.
🔴 Preserved, not resolved. Two documents by one author for one reader hold incompatible positions on whether clinical care is a precondition of intensive practice.12 Both are recorded. Neither is corrected against the other.
Open question. ⚑ Can a corpus written as a sequence of independent responses hold a standing constraint at all? ⚠ The propagation census says it cannot, and this is the case where that matters most.
⚑ The same author writes the corpus's only real safety architecture and the corpus's only instrumental method aimed at other people's minds.10
⚠ The care is not distributed by topic — it is distributed by who is at risk. ⚑⚑ Where the person who might be harmed is the author himself, the writing produces preconditions, warning signs, therapist referral and a criterion for stopping. Where the people who might be affected are readers, audiences or networks, the writing produces optimisation, disguise and transmission-vector analysis, and its only limit-shaped section is a study of where the method works less well.10
⚑ The build has recorded a version of this before and attributed it to genre — external verification appears where money and reputation are at stake, introspection where psychological material is.11 ⚠ This is the sharper form of the same observation and it does not resolve as neatly. ⚑⚑ The asymmetry here is not between two registers but between first person and third: the author has a vivid model of how a practice could hurt him and no model at all of how one could hurt anyone else.
⚑ Which is a repairable defect and an unusually specific one. The four conditions on this page are already the general case. ⚠ Nothing about confusion, isolation, disconnection from supportive relationships is particular to the person writing them, and applied outward they would rule out most of the memetic material by their own terms.
The FOSS Caveat and Safety Architecture for Mantra Practice. ⚑ The vault's existing account of what a recitation practice requires around it — supervision, staged escalation, and a named party with authority to stop it. ⚑⚑ The pairing produces the diagnosis this framework cannot make of itself: it has the staging and the stopping criterion and it has no authority structure. ⚠ The therapist is named as a consultant, not as someone who can halt the practice — the verbs throughout are discuss, share insights, ensure compatibility. The tradition's answer is that a practice which can destabilise needs someone empowered to end it, and consultation is not that. ⚑ Which is the one repair this otherwise strong framework needs, and the vault supplies its shape.
Purity of Intention as a Safety Standard. ⚑ The corpus's characteristic failure, and this framework is its exact negation. That page holds the pattern: a safeguard stated as an inner condition — sincerity, right motive, genuine devotion — which cannot be checked and therefore cannot fail. ⚑⚑ Every one of these four conditions is external: a conversation that happened or did not, a functioning that improved or degraded, a relationship maintained or dropped, a night's sleep. The insight neither page generates alone: the same author produced both kinds of safeguard, which means the unfalsifiable version is not a limit of his thinking but a default he escaped once — ⚠ and the escape happened in the one document where he was writing about his own vulnerability rather than about a technique's integrity.
⚑ The framework assumes the practitioner will notice the warning signs, and three of the four are conditions that impair noticing.
⚠ Increased anxiety, sleep disruption, difficulty concentrating. ⚑⚑ A person losing sleep and unable to concentrate is not well placed to run a periodic self-audit for lost sleep and poor concentration. The fourth sign — any symptom that concerns you or your therapist — is the only one that routes outward, and it is listed last and phrased as an afterthought.
🧭 The open question is what a warning system looks like when it cannot rely on the person it protects. ⚑ The tradition's answer is structural rather than perceptual — a teacher who sees you at intervals, a community that notices absence, a calendar that interrupts practice whether or not you feel it needs interrupting. ⚠ None of those requires the practitioner to detect anything.
⚑⚑ And this is where the corpus's deepest structural choice becomes a safety question rather than a stylistic one. A practice conducted alone, documented alone, and assessed alone has removed every mechanism the tradition used for exactly this — 🧭 and the extension project's central premise is that the practice can be conducted this way. That premise has never been examined, in either corpus, and it is the boundary the book would have to cross deliberately or decline deliberately.
⚑ The volume's own material bears on it and has not been consulted. ⚠ Its worship of Hanuman as janadevatā is explicitly communal — a folk deity invoked in the open, in temples paired with wrestling grounds, with no caste or social restriction on who may participate.12 The most private practice in the corpus is built on the most public figure in the volume.
