Pai notes that Mula nakshatra sits at the centre of our Milky Way Galaxy — the literal galactic centre — and specifically observes: "The 9/11 tragedy occurred when Mars and Ketu were conjoined near the point of the galactic centre in the middle of this intense nakshatra."¹

This is a specific empirical claim about correlation between celestial position (Mars-Ketu transit at Mula = at galactic centre) and a specific historical-trauma event (September 11, 2001). The claim is testable: are there other major civilizational-trauma events that correlate with Mars-Ketu or other malefic-conjunctions at or near the galactic centre (Mula)?

The Live Wire

• First wire (obvious): Pai is suggesting astrological-correlation between galactic-centre transits and trauma-events.
• Second wire (deeper): Modern astrophysics identifies Sagittarius A* — a supermassive black hole — at the galactic centre. The Vedic system named this position Nirriti (Goddess of Dissolution) thousands of years before astrophysics confirmed there was something physically destructive at that exact position. The convergence is striking: the position the ancient lineage named dissolution-centre turned out to be the position modern astronomy names gravitational-singularity-where-matter-dissolves.
• Third wire (uncomfortable): If the Vedic system encodes operational knowledge about literal physical-cosmic structure (not just symbolic mythology), then all the deity-position-correspondences may encode similar physical-information that has not yet been recognised. The 27-deity-position-map could be a cosmic-structural-information-system in coded form.
