Lakshmi-Quadrant vs Vishnu-Trine Theology

The Capture

Rao's chapter 19 makes an architectural-theological claim I haven't seen articulated this cleanly elsewhere: the way you walk through the twelve signs determines which deity rules the dasha. Walk the trines first (1, 5, 9, then 10, 2, 6, then 7, 3, 11, then 4, 8, 12) — quadrant-based-trinal-progression — and you're moving in Vishnu's movement; the dasha is Narayana Dasa, ruling sustenance. Walk the quadrants first (1, 4, 7, 10, then 2, 5, 8, 11, then 3, 6, 9, 12) — trinal-based-quadrant-progression — and you're moving in Lakshmi's movement; the dasha is Kendradi Rasi Dasa, ruling prosperity.

The progression-order encodes the theology. The same twelve signs in different orders become readings under different deities. This is structurally non-trivial. It says that order-of-traversal-through-a-set carries operational deity-significance independent of the set's content.

The Live Wire

First wire (obvious): Different dashas use different progression-orders. Standard astrological observation.
Second wire (deeper): Hindu theological architecture builds deity-significance into algorithms. The algorithm itself carries the deity. Lakshmi's movement is the quadrant-then-panaphara-then-apoklima walk; Vishnu's movement is the quadrant-then-trinal walk. The deity isn't invoked by the algorithm; the deity is the algorithm.
Third wire (uncomfortable): This generalizes to any domain where order-of-operations carries metaphysical-significance. The Catholic liturgical calendar walks through the year in a specific sequence — Advent → Christmas → Lent → Easter → Pentecost — and the walking-pattern is the Catholic-cosmology, not the events themselves. Reading the events alone misses the cosmology; reading the walking-pattern reveals it. Hindu theology may have made this insight more architecturally-explicit than any other tradition — the algorithms themselves are deities.
