Communing and Energizing Stones

A Different Being for Every Placement

The protective lists sort by threat and the healing lists sort by organ. These two sort by who you are trying to reach and where the energy is going — and once again the instruction is a count and a site. Six near the chest for an angel. A ring on the right ring finger for a divinity. One on the forehead for six minutes once a day for the faeries. One on the left hand for a spirit guide. One on the forehead and another on the chest for a supreme being.1

Five kinds of being, five placements. Nothing about the stones themselves says which; the position does.

Who Is Reachable, and Where

Sort the communing entries by placement and the map is consistent. The chest is for beings above you. To create a constant channel with an angel or archangel, keep six of these gemstones near the chest — and constant channel is the phrase, meaning this is a standing arrangement rather than a session.

The hands are for relationships. For a divinity: wear a ring with one of these gemstones on the ring finger of the right hand. For a spirit guide: wear one of these gemstones on the left hand. Right for a god, left for a guide — and the left hand is the same side that carries the coin, the Nihilus ring and the stones for what arrives unseen. A spirit guide is described as something that helps an individual with finding one's own path in life or getting away from trouble, which is help arriving rather than power projected.

The forehead is for the subtle. The faeries take one gemstone upon the forehead for six minutes once a day. A supreme being takes one on the forehead and one on the chest at the same time.

And the element decides for elementals. When working elemental magic, carry the stone more akin to the intended elemental spirit — Aquamarine for Water, Seraphinite for Earth, Blue Quartz for Air, and a fourth for Fire.

Analytical Case Study — Six Minutes for the Fey

The faerie entry is the shortest complete practice in the gemstone material, and its content is unexpectedly domestic. The Fey World is filled with many friends who can help with prosperity, health, sanity, job finding and the care of the house, plus protection from malicious elemental beings and recovering from injuries.

Sanity. Job finding. The care of the house. That is a list of ordinary household worries, offered by beings the same footnote warns about: there are hundreds upon hundreds of faeries, so the Apprentice is advised to practice caution when dealing with these enigmatic beings.

The method is one line: place one of these gemstones upon your forehead for six minutes, once a day. Lie or sit still, stone on the brow, six minutes. No formula, no candle, no preparation named, and a schedule anyone could keep.

Set that beside the same section's supreme-being protocol — four days of fasting, three lyings-down a day, two stones, and secrecy afterwards — and the range of this one practice becomes clear. The same technique, scaled by who is at the other end: six minutes a day for a faerie, four days of fasting for a Universal Consciousness.

What a Supreme Being Is

The largest thing this section reaches for is defined before the procedure for reaching it. Supreme beings are those entities which exist beyond the realm of mankind. They are powerful manifestations of Nature or the Cosmos, found only on remote realms, farther than the gods themselves. They are called the Universal Consciousnesses, and their purpose is stated: they exist to help us in our path towards illumination, self-righteousness and absolute equilibrium.

Farther than the gods themselves is the phrase to hold. This system already has a First God, an ordered heaven, named archangels and a ring of deities. These sit beyond all of it — and their business is not power but the practitioner's own straightening out.

The gemstones for the four-day protocol are two, placed upon the forehead and upon the chest — the same two sites the faerie practice and the angel practice use separately, here used together.

Energy Has Four Jobs

The energizing entries divide by direction rather than by target, and one of them sends energy out to somebody else. General energizing. For a plentiful amount of energy all over: five of these stones and/or metals in a sachet around the waist — or carried in the right pocket of your trousers. This is the only entry in the whole gemstone chapter that admits metals into a stone arrangement.

Energy cleansing. When a person's energy has been tainted by the presence of evil people, wrongful actions, dangerous environments, poor relations with other people, psychic energy sent to affect the person, or even the Evil Eye — carry two of these gemstones high on the chest for a whole day. A whole day, once; not a schedule.

Energy manifestation. For sending energy to somebody else: visualize the individual needing the energy and see him or her enveloped in a field of coloured light consistent with the sort of energy being sent. Energy augmentation. For a working that needs more behind it, two named stones — Isis' Blood and Labradorite — placed on opposing sides. If carried, one in the right hand and the other in the left. If the energy is for a grid, one to the left of the grid and the other to the right.

Opposing Sides Is a Technique, Not a Layout

The augmentation entry deserves separating out, because the instruction is the same shape at three different scales. Two stones, on opposite sides — of your body, of your hands, of a grid. The placement is not about where the stones are convenient. It is about the arrangement being a pair with something between them.

That is the radial tension again, built out of two objects facing each other, and it is the second time this material uses opposition as an amplifier rather than as a balance. There the two objects sat facing each other on a shelf and a wizard concentrated on them daily. Here they sit either side of a working, and the working is what gets more.

Which also explains why the two stones are named and fixed. Every other entry in these lists offers a choice from a set of a dozen. This one specifies exactly two, because the operation depends on those two being different from each other rather than on either being suitable.

The Evil Eye Turns Up

⚠ One phrase in the energy-cleansing entry sits oddly beside the rest of the system and is worth flagging. The taints listed are mostly things a person could describe: evil people, wrongful actions, dangerous environments, poor relations with other people, psychic energy sent to affect the person. And then, in the same list, the Evil Eye.

That is a named folk concept from Mediterranean, Near Eastern and Latin American practice, appearing here without introduction, definition or correspondence in a system that otherwise defines everything it uses. It is reported as printed.

Implementation Workflow — Reaching and Recharging

Two families of technique, both cleansed and blessed first by the standard method.

To commune. Match the placement to the being. Six stones near the chest for a constant channel with an angel or archangel. A ring on the right ring finger for a divinity. One on the left hand for a spirit guide. One on the forehead for six minutes a day for the faeries. For elementals, carry the stone matching the element — aquamarine for water, seraphinite for earth, blue quartz for air.

To reach a supreme being, run the four-day protocol: the fast, three lyings-down a day, and a stone on the forehead and another on the chest each time. To recharge. Five stones or metals in a sachet at the waist, or in the right trouser pocket, for general energy. Two high on the chest for a whole day when your energy has been tainted.

To amplify. Isis' Blood and Labradorite on opposing sides — one in each hand, or one either side of a grid. To send. Picture the person, and see them wrapped in coloured light of the kind you are sending.

Evidence, Tensions, Open Questions

The placements, the ranking of beings and the energy entries are asserted with no tradition named and nothing quoted. This is the Eldest Tradition warrant on the source stub. 🚩 SINGLE SOURCE.

🚩 Universal Consciousnesses are defined here as existing farther than the gods, which places them above the entire celestial hierarchy this system otherwise teaches. The same beings are named elsewhere in this material as fifty-five personified philosophical concepts existing outside any hierarchy of beings. ⚠ The Evil Eye is invoked without definition in a system that defines its terms. Reported as printed.

⚠ Isis' Blood is a trade name for a variety of jasper rather than a mineralogical term, and it is the only stone in the augmentation entry that cannot be looked up in a standard reference. Re-check the plate. Unresolved: the elemental communing list gives stones for Water, Earth and Air, and the entry for Fire is not recoverable from the converted file. Re-check the plate.

Author Tensions & Convergences

Follow the communing entries and contact is a matter of placement. Six at the chest opens a constant channel to an archangel; a ring on the right hand keeps a divinity in reach. Nothing is said, nothing is asked, and no state is required of the practitioner.

Follow the supreme-being protocol and contact is earned by ordeal. Four days of fasting, three concentrated sessions a day, no flamboyant sign to confirm it, secrecy afterwards, and an obligation to keep the link up once made. Both are in the same section. And the difference is not explained by rank alone, because an archangel is not a small being — it opens a constant channel to one for six stones and a shirt pocket, and demands four days without food for something further out.

Cross-Domain Handshakes

Adisa as Knowledge Apparatus — Both traditions treat contact with non-human intelligences as ordinary practice with a defined method, and both name specific classes of being rather than gesturing at the spiritual in general. Neither treats the other party as a metaphor.

The Akan account names who is at the other end and what they are to you: the Abosom and the Nsamanfo, deities and cultivated ancestors, standing in an inherited relationship with the practitioner's own line. The channel opens onto somebody who already had a claim on you.

Here the roster is stratified by distance and none of the tiers is related to the practitioner, which neither corpus notices. Angels, divinities, elementals, faeries, spirit guides and Universal Consciousnesses — sorted by how far out they sit, reached by placing a stone at the right site. There are no ancestors anywhere in the list. Which is why the technique can be a body-map rather than a genealogy: when the parties are related to you, contact runs along an existing line and the method is about honouring it; when they are simply present at various depths, contact is a matter of tuning, and where you put the stone is the tuning.

The Live Edge

Sharpest implication. Reaching a faerie costs one gemstone on the forehead for six minutes once a day. Reaching a Universal Consciousness costs four days of fasting and three sessions a day. The technique never changes — a stone on the brow, a stone on the chest — and the only variable is how much of your life you spend doing it.

Generative questions.

  • Six stones open a constant channel to an archangel, and a supreme being takes four days of fasting. What makes one a placement and the other an ordeal?
  • Isis' Blood and Labradorite must be on opposing sides. Is the pairing an opposition of two qualities, or simply two stones that happen to be strong?
  • The faeries handle prosperity, sanity, job finding and the care of the house. Why do the most domestic problems in the whole practice go to the beings the material warns you about?
