Chase Hughes — Map of Content

The durable home for all Chase Hughes material in this vault: The Behavior Ops Manual (2023, fully re-ingested 2026-07-12/13 — PRD: WORKBENCH/reading/chase-hughes-behavior-ops-manual-reingest-prd.md), Six-Minute X-Ray (prior ingest), The Ellipsis Manual (2017, fully re-ingested 2026-07-14 — PRD: WORKBENCH/reading/chase-hughes-ellipsis-manual-prd.md — supersedes a prior non-compliant 7-page orphaned corpus that has been deleted), and the "RUN If Someone Makes You Feel Clever" video transcript (a fourth, previously-uncounted source discovered 2026-07-14 during hub cleanup — its 3 pages are folded into their thematic homes below, marked [RUN]). Named generically, not after any one book, because Six-Minute X-Ray is still due its own re-ingest. Covers 239 pages: 92 pre-existing ("Corpus A") re-homed here from 8 scattered hubs (behavioral-mechanics-hub, manipulation-and-influence-hub, mental-control-and-suppression-hub, power-authority-social-hub, identity-architecture-and-defense-hub, mass-psychology-hub, maslow-humanistic-psychology-hub, consumer-psychology-pricing-hub) + 102 net-new pages from the 2026-07-12/13 Behavior Ops Manual re-ingest + 45 net-new pages from the 2026-07-14 Ellipsis Manual DEEP INGEST. All Chase Hughes material was moved (not just cross-linked) out of those 8 hubs at the user's request — each now carries a pointer note here instead of a duplicate listing.

Organized as a developmental arc — beginner → intermediate → advanced — reflecting how the material actually builds: start with the foundational models and basic people-reading, move through everyday applied technique and the psychology backing it, and finish with the heaviest, most technical, and most ethically fraught material (cults, dissociation, hypnosis, memory manipulation, interrogation, AVERY).

⚑ A separate, non-standard 17-page "omnibus" layer (#BOM-tagged, uncited, folded into behavioral-mechanics-hub.md) was discovered during this re-ingest and found unreliable — not traceable to the source at the line level. It is deliberately excluded from this hub pending its own remediation session. See the PRD's "Critical Finding 2."

⚠️ Flagged for Rebuild — Do Not Treat as Verified

Two independent full readers of the source confirmed these pages misrepresent what the book actually says. They remain linked here for completeness (per the vault's "never silently resolve contradictions" rule) but should not be cited as reliable until rebuilt in a dedicated future session.

  • KAPTOR Protocol — cites plausible line ranges, but phase names/step counts don't match the source; the book itself describes KAPTOR inconsistently across its own S08 and S11 sections
  • LILAC Protocol — same fidelity problem
  • GRACE Protocol — same fidelity problem
  • SIGMA Protocol and Simulated Rescue — same fidelity problem; SIGMA is the other protocol the book itself describes two inconsistent ways
  • Composure, the Pendulum, and FIC — has an inverted definition; describes the operator's own composure, but the book defines FIC as three qualities the operator builds in the subject
  • Hierarchy of Influence Factors — describes an unrelated 5-tier Perception→Emotion→Authority→Tribe→Logic pyramid; the book's actual model is Impulse→Behavioral→Chemical→Electric (see the corrected Hierarchy of Influence: Four Levers below, which replaces it)
  • Resistance and Frame Defense — cites line ranges that don't correspond to its content or this book at all; citation audit needed
  • Behavior Compass — Dimension 1 describes the classic full NLP eye-accessing model, which the book explicitly repudiates elsewhere in its own text

Dissociation-Based Persuasion Techniques

Trait Development & Emotional/Physiological Levers

Storytelling, Narrative & Archetypes

Physical, Environmental & Gesture Systems

Consumer, Social & Mass-Psychology Applications

Courtroom & Legal Tradecraft

Depth-psychology and trauma-theory pages the book draws on or that were built as its handshake partners; explaining-register pages, filed psychology per the domain filing test.

Ellipsis Manual Additions (2026-07-14)

Confusion, Cults & Deviance

Identity, Dissociation & Belief Manipulation

Ellipsis Manual Additions (2026-07-14)

Hypnosis & Trance

Memory, False Memory & Amnesia

⚑ Ethically fraught, document-don't-endorse — some of the highest-severity red-flagged material in the whole re-ingest. Documented factually and completely per the vault's standing instruction — not omitted, not endorsed.

Interrogation & Tactical Formulas

AVERY & Advanced Tradecraft

⚑ Highest-severity ethically fraught material — undisclosed chemical/electrical-stimulation administration gated behind an NDA, false-memory implantation trained as an operator skill, and a scenario coaching manipulation tactics aimed at a 9-year-old child. Document-don't-endorse throughout.

CIA/MKUltra Methods & Institutional Programming

New territory from the 2026-07-14 Ellipsis Manual DEEP INGEST — verbatim quotes from two real, historically significant declassified CIA documents, distinct from the confusion-technique CIA thread in the "Confusion, Cults & Deviance" section above (same era, different program). ⚑ Highest-severity material in this hub alongside AVERY: real historical human-subjects abuse, document-don't-endorse throughout.

Notes

Two more third-source stubs, chase-hughes-ancients-decoded and chase-hughes-see-core-shame, were found during the 2026-07-14 cleanup — but the pages citing them (ancient-convergence-five-truths, perennial-philosophy-methodology, trika-philosophy, spiritual-bypassing, concealment-archetypes, insult-as-identity-marker, shame-as-survival-system) are primarily about other subjects (Trika Shaivism, shame psychology) and cite Hughes only as a supporting comparison — not folded in here, per the same "core subject matter vs. incidental citation" test used to exclude the Tabata/Foss pages below.

Former locations (now pointer-only): all 8 hubs that previously hosted Chase Hughes material now carry a pointer note here instead of a duplicate listing — moved, not just cross-linked, at the user's explicit request (2026-07-14): Behavioral Mechanics Hub · Manipulation and Influence Hub · Mental Control and Suppression · Power, Authority, and Social Navigation · Identity Architecture and Defense · Mass Psychology and Public Opinion · Maslow's Humanistic Psychology · Consumer Psychology & Pricing

Deliberately excluded: the 17-page #BOM Corpus-B "omnibus" layer (uncited, invented terminology not found anywhere in the source — see PRD Critical Finding 2, pending its own remediation session) and six pages that cite this source only incidentally (two cross-domain Tabata-proxemics pages, four Eastern-Spirituality Foss-mantra pages) — not part of the Chase Hughes corpus proper.

2026-07-14 — Ellipsis Manual DEEP INGEST closeout: superseded and deleted 6 pre-existing, non-compliant orphaned pages (ellipsis-engineering-process, advanced-profiling-and-social-fragility, corrugation-and-identity-engineering, the-belgrade-protocol-and-wakeproofing, covert-amnesia-and-linguistic-weaponry, deception-analysis-and-the-drs-matrix — zero frontmatter, zero citations, bare links, never linked from this hub) plus a 7th orphaned hub-node summary page and an 8th unverifiable page (clandestine-tradecraft-and-field-gear, no corroborating chapter found anywhere in the source) — both also deleted, per user confirmation. 9 other pre-existing vault pages that linked to the 6 superseded slugs were redirected to their replacements before deletion (0 ghosts introduced). 45 net-new pages built (42 behavioral-mechanics + 3 psychology) plus ~20 enrichments to existing Behavior-Ops-Manual-derived pages — see WORKBENCH/reading/chase-hughes-ellipsis-manual-prd.md for the full fidelity audit, dedup record, and SIGNAL. Covers 194→239.
