The first five alterations get things moving. The second five do something else, and reading them side by side shows what a level actually buys in this system. Where the first set restarts a shop or unsticks a project, this set changes the character of a place, puts a chosen power into a stone, clears up a misunderstanding by itself, extends how far you can see, and cuts a tie between two people.1
Same school, same four printed fields — name, effect, psalm, celestial. What has changed is that the first set works on situations and this set works on properties. A thing keeps being what it is and starts being different.
The quiet charm, and it is the only incantation in the school with a standing daily recommendation attached. It creates an atmosphere of harmony, tranquility and quietness around the caster's environment — ideal for achieving great meditative states, acquiring wholeness, and making a place unobtrusive and more at ease. It prevents quarrels and disputes in a given place, and manifests an aura of peace to all those who spend some time inside the area of effect.
Then the instruction: it is amply suggested to employ The Therion Charm daily, so that the practitioner's Philosophical Sphere becomes an area of tranquility, centeredness and harmony, allowing the caster to operate more soundly mentally, magically and physically. Daily, on your own sphere. Which makes this maintenance rather than a working — a charm cast on the instrument you cast everything else with.

Psalm 9:9. Celestial: Namachor, Holy Potentate of the Seventh Heaven, whose mission is to spread harmony and order into the universe.
The stone-charging incantation is the most completely specified working in the ranges read in this build, and it is the only one in either alteration set that comes with a procedure. It is described as a more potent version of the Ubertas Charm, and it lets a wizard place particular magical energies upon stones, crystals, quartz and metals. The range of what can be placed is wide: planetary activities, attributes from the Tree of Life, or activities related to celestial spirits.
Then the selector, which is the same one Ubertas uses: the quality of the magical energy depends solely on the Wizard's intention. The wizard must concentrate on what sort of energy, activity or power they wish to transmit. And then the procedure, in order.
Cast the incantation over the object. Circulate a wand over it in a clockwise motion. And state in a very slow voice the activity which is desired to be placed over the stone, metal or quartz.
Three steps, and the third is the one nothing else in this material specifies. Not speak with force, not speak with conviction — speak slowly, and say the thing you want the stone to do. Two limits follow. The Exornita Charm will not work in large objects. No size is given. And a second use is thrown in: the incantation will also clean the gemstones from noxious energies picked up during regular use or healing sessions.
So one formula charges a stone and cleans it, and the difference between the two operations is not stated. Presumably it is the intention — which would make the selector do the switching, exactly as it does for Ubertas. Psalm 35:6. Celestial: Renachorel, Seraph of the Second Heaven, whose is the wisdom to manifest the most gracious and auspicious magics.
The third is aimed at confusion, and the mechanism is passive in a way most charms here are not. Misunderstandings, confusions and errors — made by others or the Wizard — will tend to clarify by themselves. Nobody explains anything. The tangle unpicks.
What is actually placed is an atmosphere: the charm manifests an aura of helpfulness and goodwill around the Wizard, creating the ideal conditions to solve a situation or make people be more favorable to dismiss errors or mistakes. There is a second use aimed inward. It is useful to understand difficult explanations, complicated information and even hard to grasp concepts which elude the mind of the wizard or of other people.
And a third, which is more pointed than the rest: it makes people ready to speak with a person who generally tries to lure the others and take advantage of them. Ready for that person — forewarned rather than protected. Psalm 60:8. Celestial: Zaqarsel, Heavenly Host of the First Heaven, who commands truth, clarity of mind and resolve.
The distance-sight charm is unusually careful about its own boundaries, and the exclusions are more informative than the effect. It helps a wizard see farther in the distance than normally possible — define objects at a distance, distinguish them better, and generally perceive everything there is to see in an area.
Then the first exclusion, stated as a category correction: it is not an Augmentation Charm, so it will not help the Wizard see small objects. Distance, not magnification. The second: this incantation will not find hidden objects or people in an area. Better seeing of what is visible; nothing about what is concealed.
Then the third capacity, which is not about ordinary sight at all. It will prepare the Wizard to see beyond the veil of the physical world, allowing them to tap into the spiritual world and perceive magical creatures like nature spirits and elementals. And a fourth, which reads like surveying: the charm enables the caster to detect magnetic lines in a landscape, find underground currents of water, and determine if a particular area is profitable to build a structure.

The fifth is the heaviest in the set and it is about the ties between people. Named the Vice Breaker Charm because it breaks vices which are attached to the spirit and/or soul and protects against them. It revokes foul vices on a person, prevents vices from being acquired when we're near foul people, and conveys great emotional strengths to those under heavy emotional burden.
The situations named are ordinary and hard: it gives a person enough force to break free from weakening relationships, problematic people and emotional distresses which cause both pain and agony. Then the mechanism, and it is the most specific in the school: what the incantation does is dissolve the spiritual tethers that people develop with one another — specifically those which are negative and troublesome.
Tethers. Developed between people, over time, and cut by name. And the aftercare: once the tethers had been removed the person is vitalized with divine and celestial energies which provide the necessary impulse to break free from these conditions. So the cutting alone is not the whole working — something is put in afterwards to supply the push.
Psalm 73:6. Celestial: Aubel Qol, Mighty Potentate of the First Heaven, whose task is to protect us from madness, weakness and the feeble mind.
The celestials in this set reach higher than in the first, and the spread is worth noting. Namachor is of the Seventh Heaven — the highest named anywhere in the two alteration sets, and it belongs to the daily quiet charm rather than to any of the more dramatic ones.
Renachorel and Zaraphel are of the Second. Zaqarsel and Aubel Qol are of the First. Nothing here is of the Third, where three of the five first-level celestials sat.
So the second level does not simply reach higher across the board. It reaches to the First Heaven for clarity and for protection from madness, to the Second for stone-work and for sight, and to the Seventh only for peace. ⚠ Two ranks appear here that do not in the first set — Seraph and Holy Potentate — alongside the Heavenly Host and Power ranks carried over.
Cast Ananath Therion daily on your own sphere. That is the standing recommendation, and the stated payoff is operating more soundly mentally, magically and physically. To charge a stone: hold the specific power in mind, cast Exornita Potens Lapidus over it, circulate the wand clockwise, and state the activity you want in a very slow voice. Keep the object small — the charm is said not to work on large ones. The same formula cleans a stone of what it has picked up.
Use Lucis Perlucidus when a situation is tangled rather than blocked. It does not explain anything; it makes the tangle come apart and the people involved more willing to let errors go. Use Procere Videm for distance and for the veil, not for magnification and not for finding hidden things. Both exclusions are stated. And keep the surveying use in mind — magnetic lines, underground water, and whether ground is worth building on.
Use Vinculas Solvere when the problem is a tie to a person. It dissolves the negative tethers and then supplies the impulse to act on the release.

Follow the charging charm and intention is everything. The quality of the energy depends solely on the Wizard's intention, and the practitioner concentrates on the power they want before speaking. Follow the procedure in the same entry and intention is not enough. There is a wand, moved clockwise. There is a voice, and it must be slow. There is a spoken statement of the activity. And there is a size limit on the object.
Both are in one paragraph. A working whose content is said to be settled purely by what is held in mind is also the most physically specified operation in the two alteration sets.
